FUNDED; Apply for the global Cohort IV Nairobi Summer School on Climate Justice 2024

The Nairobi Summer School on Climate Justice (NSSCJ), organized by the Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA) and Kenyatta University, is seeking applications for its Fourth Cohort. Scheduled to take place from June 23 to July 7, 2024, at Chuka University, Kenya, this two-week event aims to bring together passionate individuals dedicated to climate justice. The program is open to a wide range of participants, including climate advocates, policymakers, academics, community leaders, activists, scientists, and organizations, with a focus on knowledge-sharing, fostering discussions on equitable climate solutions, and promoting community action for a sustainable future.

Since its inception in 2020, NSSCJ has emerged as a pivotal platform for climate justice, attracting over 1500 participants from 73 countries. It emphasizes hands-on learning, mentorship, and the development of innovative approaches to tackle climate-related challenges.

Who Can Apply: The initiative encourages applications from diverse individuals committed to climate justice, irrespective of their professional background, educational qualifications, or geographical location.

Application Period and Deadline: Interested candidates can submit their applications from Sunday, February 11, to Friday, March 8, 2024, by 11:59 PM EAT. Notifications regarding successful applications will be communicated by Friday, April 19, 2024.
