1ST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MEDIA INSECURITY HELD BY ABU DEPARTMENT

The Mass Communication Department at Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria is organizing its inaugural international conference scheduled for Monday, February 26th, to Wednesday, February 28th, 2024.

The conference, themed “Media, Insecurity and Development: Issues, Challenges and the Way Forward,” will have Malam Abdulhamid Salihu Dembos, the Director General of NTA, as its chairperson.

Professor Cosmos Eze, the head of the local organizing committee, announced that the keynote address will be delivered by Lt.-Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja, the Chief of Army Staff, and the lead paper will be presented by Professor Umaru Pate, Vice Chancellor of Federal University, Kashere.

This three-day event is set to occur at the Main Auditorium, Centre of Excellence, Ahmadu Bello University Business School, ABU Main Campus, Samaru, Zaria, attracting distinguished scholars from around the globe.
