The appointment of Janet Oyeteju Shehu as the new registrar of the Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON) was made through a unanimous decision during the board’s meeting.
ESV Shehu, who previously held the position of deputy registrar and led the Northern Region and Registration Unit, now assumes the role of registrar.
Mrs. Shehu makes history as the first woman to be appointed registrar of the board since its establishment in 1975.
In her new capacity, she will be responsible for overseeing the administration of the secretariat, as well as the registration and regulation of estate surveyors and valuers nationwide. Her role involves upholding professional standards and promoting excellence in line with the vision and mission of ESVARBON.
